Central Great Yarmouth Place Project
Empowering Youth, Transforming Communities
The Central Great Yarmouth (CGY) Place Project is a collaborative initiative developed alongside children, young people, residents, and professionals. Its primary goal is to enhance literacy, youth services, education, employment, and training opportunities in the area, ultimately improving life chances for young people and reducing the risk of youth crime and violence.
By addressing these key areas, the CGY Place Project aims to provide a positive alternative for young people, fostering a brighter future and a stronger, safer community for all.
Programme Focus Areas:
- Literacy Development: Improve literacy levels among children and young people, equipping them with the essential skills for future success.
- Youth Services & Opportunities: Expand youth offerings, creating engaging activities and support networks to inspire and guide local young people.
- Education & Employment: Enhance access to quality education and training, preparing young people for the workforce and long-term career success.
- Youth Crime Prevention: Address underlying causes of youth crime and violence, offering alternatives and opportunities for personal growth and community involvement.
